Which textbooks have resale value.
Current editions, especially STEM, medical, and law. Older textbooks are nearly worthless—information changes constantly.
I buy the books from these thrift stores every week. Might as well pay the customer instead.
Tell us about your textbooks.
Send photos and details. We'll respond within the hour during business hours. Textbooks we don't buy without resale value are sorted: kids' books go to the New Mexico Literacy Project (the literacy side of what we do, not a registered non-profit or charity); adult books too common or damaged to resell, I haul to the paper recycler myself.

Textbooks.
Will you buy my old textbooks from 5 years ago?
Unlikely. Old textbooks don't resell—content changes too fast. We focus on current editions. Occasionally we buy last-year editions if still used in courses.
What condition should my textbooks be in?
Better condition = better price. Highlighting, notes, and markings reduce value. Torn pages or water damage reduce it further. Clean copies bring the most.
Can I sell textbooks with access codes or online components?
Access codes must be unused. Used codes have no value and reduce the book's value significantly. We evaluate based on code status and binding condition.
Do you pay more for STEM or medical textbooks?
Yes. Engineering, medical, and law textbooks typically have stronger resale demand. We're familiar with UNM and CNM course uses.
